Floating World (Remixed 2020) - Snapshirt Records

Floating World began in 1996. Michael Comstock, Tim Berry and I had a little college band called This is Judy in the early 90s. We reconvened several years later at Michael’s Indre Studios in Philadelphia, along with a visit from David Hamburger and his pedal steel, to take a crack at some new songs of mine. I took the tracks home and worked on them in Knoxville for a year or so while learning about recording. When I ran out of time and money I put it out in a very limited way (with a CD burner and some color copies). During the great live music hiatus of 2020 I went back and remixed, trying to communicate the sounds I intended it to have back then, but was unable to reach.

Written, performed, produced, mixed, and mixed again, and remixed by Greg Horne

Tim Berry: bass
